Guitar Parts
Warther Museum is noted for the precision cutting of guitar and related instrument luthier's parts. Guitar nuts and saddles are requested most often and we also provide ivory bridge blanks, neck slabs, etc. for specialty building and rebuilding of vintage instruments.
BONE NUT & SADDLE BLANKS:
Our bone parts are made from oxen bone from the middle east. This material has very little porosity and has exceptional acoustical properties. Parts can be ordered in bleached (white) or unbleached (tan) for the same price. All orders are filled using bleached parts unless the customer specifies unbleached.

Our Pre-Ban Elephant Ivory is well documented "Pre-Ban" material that can be sold only to U.S. customers with no exceptions. Pre-Ban Elephant Ivory is legal material in the USA, however it cannot be sold or transported outside the USA. The sound quality of elephant ivory is unsurpassed from guitar nuts and saddles. The clarity and brightness of tone that elephant ivory brings to a guitar is not found in bone or ancient ivories.

ANCIENT MAMMOTH NUT & SADDLE BLANKS
We purchase only the best Ancient Mammoth Ivory directly from Russia, where we obtain only the top musical grade. This material is from the ancient Wooly Mammoth of 20,000 years ago. Trapped in the earth amidst ice and frozen tundra, this ivory is highly sought after for guitar nuts, saddles, and guitar pins, which produces the "soft" sound and tone that musicians seek after. We subject our mammoth ivory to a stabilization process that renders the ivory to nearly the same density as elephant ivory. This is a very important step as this makes the mammoth ivory very stable and produces nearly the same sound qualities as pre-ban elephant ivory.
